Lisa Marie Tetley  Principal

Lisa was born in Doncaster South Yorkshire and began to dance aged 4 at The Doreen Ladley School of Dance and Theatre Arts. She was accepted as a Junior Associate at The Royal Ballet School. Aged ten she gained a place at The Yorkshire Ballet Scholarship Centre, where she was awarded six consecutive years and was tutored by Miss Louise Browne OBE.

She held the title of The English Ballet Champion, amongst many other regional Championship titles, and was awarded the 10th annual Markova Scholarship and The Friends of Dance Scholarship.

Lisa is a Diploma graduate from the Central School of Ballet in London and a fully qualified Dance teacher with the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA) She holds an Anatomy and Physiology Diploma and has an enhanced CRB disclosure certificate.

Lisa has studied many styles of dance around the World including The Tango in Buenos Aires Argentina with the great Tango Masters, and Flamenco dance in Spain with Gabriel Sanchez.

She began her professional career as a dancer and has completed many contracts worldwide. Seven years of which were onboard The Mediterranean Shipping Cruises Company in the position of Dance Captain, Professional Singer and Dancer. She moved back to the UK and began working as a Choreographer and taught Freelance within other schools prior to opening up her own dance School.
